The story of a busy, happy, crazy, overweight Mum of 6 and Mamgu (Welsh for granny) and how she takes on the challenge of becoming a (sort of) runner. Not born to run but trying to juggle being wife/mum/work/craft and making time for running so this is an adventure. The call of the forest and hills grows as I get older and I love being outdoors. My most important stable is my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Legs not working
After a really busy couple of days when I just didn't manage to get out I went out at 8am this morning (Mother's Day) and did a little 3 miler. It was really cold with a low wind chill factor and short bursts of snow flurries and my legs just didn't want to work at all. I felt like I was pushing all the way. Nevermind - you take the good with the bad. Music Festival here this coming week so it will be really hectic. Rick's mum arrives on the coach tomorrow evening and 23yos, who is here for the weekend, leaves in the afternoon. So it will only be short runs next week but no matter as it is a quiet week.
